A Hauler is an individual that drives a Dump truck.

On the Iron Sheepdog Platform the term used is Operator.

The different roles that an operator could be in the platform is Owner Operator Admin- this means that they own the hauling company and also have Operator/ employees underneath them. The Operator Employee is the hauler underneath or within the Hauling  company that the Owner operator dispatches. The last role is the Independent owner operator, this is the hauler that owns his/her own company and does not have haulers working for him driving his/her trucks.

Operator Employees should be invited as "Normal User" in Iron Sheepdog. This ensures that they have the resources necessary to haul. If a hauler is invited as a "administrator" they will have access to earnings, reports and dispatch duties that an owner operator is responsible for.

The first Owner Operator will default to being Administrator, in order for them to manage their trucks and dispatch out their hauling companies trucks.

The Owner Operator will be the only users in their company that possess the ability to withdraw earnings, and then disperse those earnings to their haulers.

Haulers make money by hauling units; Hourly, tonnage, Cubic yards and Loads.
